Young Farmer Vikram Kumar Jha from Purnia

Vikram Kumar Jha, a young farmer from Baluwa Hemnagar in Banmankhi Kachahri, Purnia, is focusing on new techniques and crops. After completing his BSc, he chose farming as his career and has been cultivating new crops using modern techniques for years. He easily earns up to 5 lakhs annually by adopting these methods.

Mixed Farming Techniques

Shashi Kumar practices mixed farming by cultivating crops like black rice, black wheat, vermicompost, strawberries, mushrooms, bell peppers, red rice, black ginger, black turmeric, red and black rice, and other crops. By sharing his farming methods with other villagers, he has inspired them to adopt new techniques and cultivate new crops. At the age of 25, he is already making a mark in the agriculture sector.

Embracing New Agricultural Technologies

Shashi Kumar utilizes drip irrigation, mulching, sprinklers, and other modern techniques for farming. He not only cultivates black wheat on his 25-acre farm but also encourages other farmers to adopt new crops and techniques. By utilizing 30% of the land for new techniques and crops, farmers can earn more than 5 lakhs annually in each season, as per his advice.

विक्रम कुमार झा, जो पूर्णिया के बनमनखी के कचहरी बलुवा हेमनगर से हैं, एक पढ़े-लिखे किसान हैं जो नई-नई तकनीक और फसलों पर ध्यान देते हैं। उन्होंने मिश्रित खेती करके सालाना 5 लाख से अधिक कमाई करना शुरू किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि गांव के किसान भी इस तकनीक से प्रेरित हो रहे हैं। वह ड्रिपिंग मल्चिंग और स्प्रिंकल की तकनीक से खेती कर रहे हैं और अपने साथ किसानों को भी इसका लाभ दिला रहे हैं। उनकी यह पहल बिहार में कृषि क्षेत्र में एक नयी दिशा है।
