Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will enter Bihar today, with his visit to Araria after Kishanganj. The Bihar Congress leaders have geared up for this journey, as they have been camping in Purnia since the change in power in the state. Rahul Gandhi’s yatra will begin at Farangola Chowk on the Bihar-Bengal border in Kishanganj at 9 am and he will cover a distance of 425 kilometers in seven districts over the next four days.
The entire city has been adorned with banners and posters for the Nyay Yatra. Local Congress leaders have put up arches and large hoardings to welcome the leader. Rahul Gandhi will spend the night at Ratri Vishram Yadav College during his stay. According to the organizing committee, his yatra will reach Zero Mile in the city around 3 pm, passing through Hospital Road, Chandni Chowk, and Kali Temple Road. During this time, Rahul Gandhi may also visit the Kali Temple. Preparations have been made for this.
As Rahul Gandhi will also need to rest at night, temporary tents are being set up for his stay. After the night’s rest, his convoy will depart for Purnia on January 30, where a rally will be held at the Rangbhoomi Maidan. Preparations are also underway for the rally in Purnia. The first phase of Rahul Gandhi’s yatra will cover the districts of Seemanchal, where he will address several public meetings.
It is noteworthy that just hours after breaking away from the NDA alliance, Rahul Gandhi’s yatra has reached Bihar. It will be interesting to see how Rahul Gandhi’s behavior towards Nitish Kumar is, as he has been a strong ally of the Indi Gathbandhan. On the other hand, Rahul’s yatra also reached Bengal from Cooch Behar, where Mamata Banerjee is also scheduled to hold a rally.
