Jharkhand experienced heavy rain on Tuesday in several districts, leading to a drop in maximum temperatures and an increase in cold weather. The maximum temperature decreased by two to nine degrees. In Chandwa, Latehar district, a laborer died due to a falling tree. According to the weather department, there will be cloudy skies and light to moderate rain in the state during the next 48 hours. The department has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning in some parts of the state.
During the last 24 hours, Mandar in Ranchi recorded the highest rainfall of 40 mm in the state. Due to continuous rainfall throughout the day in various parts of the state, including the capital, the maximum temperature in Ranchi dropped by nine degrees in the last 24 hours. Several other districts also experienced a decrease in maximum temperature. However, the minimum temperature in various parts of the state increased by two to three degrees.
