NDIA and Mahagathbandhan field three candidates each for six vacant seats in Bihar Rajya Sabha elections
The ruling party NDIA and the Mahagathbandhan alliance have nominated three candidates each for the six vacant seats in the Bihar Rajya Sabha elections. It was believed that the six candidates would easily win due to their majority in the house, but the discussion intensified when it was speculated that the NDIA may also field a seventh candidate. This has made the competition more interesting. JD(U) leader and minister Shravan Kumar created a political buzz by stating that they have to wait until 3 PM to see if the NDIA will nominate another candidate.
Bihar BJP treasurer Rakesh Tiwari deposited a security deposit for the seventh NDIA candidate
There are reports that Bihar BJP treasurer Rakesh Tiwari has deposited a security deposit of Rs 10,000 as the seventh candidate for the NDIA nomination. This has led to speculation that the NDIA is preparing to field a seventh candidate. It should be noted that Rakesh Tiwari is not only the treasurer of the Bihar BJP but also the Chairman of the Bihar Cricket Association.
NDIA and Mahagathbandhan candidates are expected to secure victory in the elections
As of now, the victory of the three NDIA candidates is almost certain. The Mahagathbandhan is also confident of winning based on the strength of the RJD. However, it is believed that the seventh candidate’s entry could complicate the situation, potentially leading to the Congress candidate Akhilesh Singh losing his seat. Currently, the Mahagathbandhan has the support of 112 MLAs with the help of AIMIM. This means they have seven more votes than required for victory.
बिहार में राज्यसभा चुनाव के लिए एनडीए और महागठबंधन ने खाली हुई छह सीटों के लिए तीन-तीन उम्मीदवार उतारे हैं। जदयू के नेता श्रवण कुमार ने बताया कि तीन बजे तक इंतजार करना होगा कि एनडीए कोई और उम्मीदवार उतारता है या नहीं। बीजेपी के कोषाध्यक्ष राकेश तिवारी के लिए भी नामांकन के लिए सिक्योरिटी डिपॉजिट जमा कराया गया है। यह चुनाव रोचक हो सकता है क्योंकि एनडीए की तीन उम्मीदवारों की जीत पक्की है, जबकि महागठबंधन में आरजेडी के उम्मीदवार की सीट फंस सकती है। चुनाव के लिए 35 विधायकों के वोट की जरूरत होती है और प्रत्येक उम्मीदवार को 105 वोटों की आवश्यकता होती है। वर्तमान में एनडीए के 130 विधायक हैं, इसलिए एनडीए की जीत पक्की है। यहां तक कि अगर राकेश तिवारी भी उम्मीदवारी करते हैं तो राजनीतिक समीकरण बदल सकता है।
