RJD Manifesto Highlights

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has released their manifesto titled ‘Parivartan Patra’ which promises to conduct a nationwide caste census. The main focus of the manifesto is to provide 1 crore jobs across the country by 2024, creating 70 lakh new positions, starting work to eradicate unemployment from August 15th, and initiating the process of government job recruitment from the same date.

Social Welfare Schemes

In addition to job creation, the RJD manifesto also includes schemes to provide financial assistance of one lakh rupees annually to women from poor families on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, reducing the price of gas cylinders to 500 rupees, implementing the old pension scheme, granting special state status to Bihar, and providing a special package of 1 lakh 60 thousand crores to the state. The manifesto also promises to provide 200 units of free electricity to the people of Bihar and ensure MSP for 10 crops.

Economic Development and Social Reforms

The RJD manifesto also outlines plans to boost industrialization, establish startup incubators, conduct annual startup competitions, include increased reservation in the 9th schedule of the caste census, increase the salaries of Anganwadi and ASHA workers, and create a national policy for the appointment of all frontline workers. The manifesto also promises to bring in a Health Rights Act, strengthen the law and order system, and establish a National Youth Commission. Additionally, plans include the construction of a Bihar Film City and restoration of historic religious sites in the state.



राष्ट्रीय जनता दल ने ‘परिवर्तन पत्र’ नाम से घोषणा पत्र जारी किया है जिसमें देशभर में जातीय जनगणना कराने का वादा किया गया है। इसमें 24 जनवचन की बात कही गई है और बिहार में नौकरियों की संख्या में वृद्धि की गई है। इसके साथ ही अन्य विकास कार्यक्रमों का भी ऐलान किया गया है। इसमें राहुल गांधी के हाथ को मजबूत करने की भी बात की गई है।
