After that, the best time for worship is between 11:00 AM and noon, as stability in the ascendant position is desired for Goddess Saraswati. This festival is particularly important for students and teachers involved in the field of learning. The recitation of the Shree Sukt mantra, “Om Dharani Vidarini Bhulyai Namah Swaha,” during the worship of Goddess Saraswati will bring special benefits.

Observing a vow of silence, reciting the Saraswati Kavach, and worshiping Saraswati will help eliminate all sins, including those from past lives. Therefore, reciting the Saraswati Kavach should be given utmost importance.

In the Khurcho Puja method, the worship of Goddess Saraswati is done using cow’s milk, yogurt, ghee, sugar, honey, holy water from the Ganges, unbroken rice grains, sandalwood, flowers, ancestral leaves, clothing, and offering.

दरभंगा में 14 फरवरी को विद्या की देवी मां सरस्वती की पूजा आराधना की जाएगी। इस पूजा का खास महत्व छात्र-छात्राओं एवं शिक्षकों के लिए होता है। इसके उच्चारण करने से मां सरस्वती प्रसन्न होती है और विद्या प्रदान करती है। इसके लिए सुझाव दिए जाते हैं कि आराधना प्रातः सूर्योदय के बाद 9:28 बजे तक और उसके बाद पूर्वाह्न में 11:00 बजे के बाद की जाए। इसके अलावा मां सरस्वती की पूजा में खोर्चो विधि और सरस्वती कवच का पाठ करने का महत्व बताया गया है। पूजा में गाय का दूध, दही, घी, शक्कर, मधु, गंगाजल, अक्षत, चंदन, फूल, पितृ बेलपत्र, वस्त्र और प्रसाद का उपयोग किया जाता है।
