Bihar Continues to Suffer from Severe Heat Wave

The majority of districts in Bihar are still facing the wrath of intense heat, with no relief expected until May 2nd, according to the weather department. The warning of a heatwave due to hot winds has been issued in most districts. Patna is experiencing extreme heat, leaving people struggling to cope. The weather department has cautioned that relief is unlikely until May 2nd, with red alerts issued in several districts.

Alerts Issued for Severe Heat Wave in Multiple Districts

On April 30th, the weather department issued alerts for Gopalganj, East Champaran, and Nawada for a severe heatwave, while severe heat is expected to persist in Siwan, Khagaria, and Bhagalpur. Residents in other districts are also advised to remain cautious. Alerts have been issued for severe heat in numerous districts, with hot days expected to continue. On May 1st, Gopalganj, East Champaran, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Khagaria, and Bhagalpur are expected to experience a severe heatwave.

Changes in Weather Expected After June 3rd

Following the intense heat, some changes in the weather may be observed starting June 3rd. The weather department has not issued any warnings for the entire state of Bihar, except for a few districts. This indicates that the weather is expected to return to normal to a large extent on that day.
