**Incident of Firing in Bahadurpur, Patna**
Late on Friday night, a fierce gun battle broke out between two groups in Bahadurpur, Patna over a dispute related to intoxication. During this shootout, a young man was shot and injured. The injured youth was admitted to a nursing home in Patna for treatment, where his condition is said to be critical. As soon as the incident was reported, the Bahadurpur police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

It is being reported that a heated argument over intoxication between Pintu Kumar and Amarjeet Kumar in the Nandan Nagar area of Bahadurpur police station led to a violent clash on Friday evening. In the same context, Amarjeet Kumar, along with some friends, reached Pintu’s house late on Friday night and fired a shot at Pintu nearby his house. This gunshot left Pintu critically injured. After the shootout, Amarjeet Kumar fled from the scene.
**Immediate Response and Investigation**
Upon receiving the information, the locals rushed to the spot and admitted the injured Pintu Kumar to a private nursing home in Patna for treatment. The incident created a tense atmosphere at the scene. Subsequently, the locals informed the Bahadurpur police station about the incident. The police station immediately reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
**Legal Action and Further Investigation**
Following the incident, Pintu Kumar’s wife filed a written application at Bahadurpur police station. In the application, she accused Amarjeet Kumar of intentionally firing at her husband Pintu Kumar with the intention of killing him. Regarding this case, Patna City Police Sub-Divisional Officer Sharad RS mentioned that after the incident, the police are examining the footage from CCTV cameras around the crime scene. He also stated that once Pintu recovers, the police will record his statement.
