Shutdown of Platform Number 1 at Siwan Railway Station

The operation of trains on Platform Number 1 at Siwan Railway Station in Bihar has been completely shut down. Train services on this platform will not be operational until February 18. Trains running on Platform Number 1 will now depart from Platforms 2 and 3. To ensure passenger convenience, announcements will be made regarding which train will arrive on which platform.

Track Renovation Work

The track of Platform Number 1 has been renovated for modernization purposes. The Railways Line on this track is quite old, and the technical equipment used is also outdated. Renovation work on the track of Platform Number 1 is necessary to increase train speed. The work of changing the railway tracks is currently underway, and no trains will pass through Platform Number 1 until February 18. Once the work is completed, train services will resume on this track.

Opening of Platform Number 4 for Thawe Route

The renovation work proposed by the Northeastern Railway for the Thawe Route is being carried out. Construction work has already begun as part of the Amrit Station Scheme. The aim is to complete this work by February 18. Until then, all trains will arrive and depart from Platforms 2 and 3, while trains departing from the Thawe Route will use Platform Number 4.
