Special Summer Trains Between Samastipur and Mumbai
During the summer holidays, a special summer special train service will be started between Samastipur and Mumbai to accommodate the increasing number of passengers. A special train will run between Samastipur Junction and Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, with train number 01043 departing from Mumbai and reaching Samastipur Junction. The return journey will be operated by train number 01044, departing from Samastipur Junction and reaching Lokmanya Tilak Terminal in Mumbai. This train service will run from April to June, as informed by Vinay Srivastava, DRM of Samastipur Rail Mandal.
Samastipur-Lokmanya Tilak Special Fast Train Schedule
The Samastipur-Lokmanya Tilak Superfast Special Train will begin its journey from Samastipur Junction on April 5, 2024. The train will operate every Friday from April 5 to June 28. Train number 01043 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 12:15 PM and arrive in Samastipur at 9:15 PM the next day. On the same day, train number 01044 will depart from Samastipur at 11:20 PM and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 7:40 AM on the third day, making travel between Mumbai and Bihar more convenient.

The operation of these special trains between Samastipur and Lokmanya Tilak Terminal will provide a great relief to people celebrating summer holidays in their villages. The train will make stops at various stations along the route, including Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Mirzapur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusawal, Nasik Road, Igatpuri, and Kalyan, enhancing connectivity and ease of travel for passengers.
