His family members searched for him and continuously called his mobile phone, but it was switched off. When they couldn’t find him, they informed the police. The groom, Aditya Kumar, had recently gotten married and had returned home with his wife after the wedding. On Tuesday evening, he left home, stating that he was going to the market, but never returned. Aditya’s father, Vishwajeet Kumar, who works as a bank manager in Bhagalpur, has filed a missing person report and suspects foul play.
The police have started investigating the case based on the missing person report. The station in-charge, Rohan Kumar, stated that a bank employee has gone missing and they are trying to gather leads. Aditya’s uncle, Arun Thakur, has expressed concerns about his nephew’s possible abduction, stating that he is a straightforward person with no enemies. The entire family is in a state of shock. The police have taken detailed information from the family members and are examining Aditya’s call details and CCTV footage from nearby ATMs. They have also found evidence of multiple withdrawals of Rs 40,000 from an ATM in Bariya.
