Bihar Board has started the Matric examination today. The Bihar School Examination Committee has made all the preparations for this in advance. After the rain in many areas of the state, students reached the examination centers amidst dense fog on Thursday morning, including Patna. Strong security arrangements have been made here. Bihar Board is conducting the examination at 1585 examination centers. This time, 1,694,781 students are appearing for the Matric examination, including 822,587 boys and 872,194 girls. The number of girls is 49,607 more than boys. Bihar Board has clearly stated that students must enter the examination center 30 minutes before the start of the examination.

The Bihar Board is conducting the examination in two shifts. In the first shift, 850,571 students are appearing, and in the second shift, 844,210 students are appearing. In Patna, 70 examination centers have been set up, with 75,850 students appearing. In the first shift, 38,185 students are appearing, and in the second shift, 37,663 students are appearing. The examination in the first shift starts at 9:30 am, and the examination in the second shift starts at 2 pm. Electronic devices are not allowed in the examination center, except for wearing a wristwatch.

The Bihar School Examination Committee (Bihar Board) will impose a two-year ban on those Matric students who are found guilty of breaking walls or gates to enter the examination center. This decision has been implemented from the start of the Matric examination on Thursday. The press release issued by the Bihar Board clearly states that attempting to enter the examination center after the designated time is a criminal act, and a decision has been taken to impose a ban of two years as a punishment.
