Patna Junction was in chaos when a suspicious briefcase was found near the area. The briefcase was placed on a pickup van filled with sand and was taken to a deserted location. ATS and Patna police conducted a thorough investigation into the matter.
Security Measures
The briefcase left by an unknown person near Jamal Road created panic in the area. The bomb squad team was the first to arrive at the scene and confirmed the presence of solid objects in the briefcase. The ATS team then arrived and screened the suspicious briefcase. The decision was made to take the suitcase to a remote location away from the population.
Police Response
SSP Rajiv Mishra stated that the contents of the briefcase could not be confirmed, but the SOP regarding unclaimed items was followed completely. Further investigation into the incident is set to take place on Tuesday. The presence of the briefcase at Patna Junction caused commotion and led to extensive scrutiny by Patna police and ATS. The suitcase was eventually taken away from the station to ensure public safety.
