On Wednesday, a married woman died under suspicious circumstances in Nalanda. The incident occurred in the Rajgir police station area of the displaced city. The deceased has been identified as Anita Kumari, the 22-year-old wife of Heera Chaudhary, a resident of the displaced city. The family members are accusing the in-laws of dowry murder. On Thursday, with the help of the police, the family reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital with the postmortem report.
The father of the deceased woman, Munarik Chaudhary, a resident of Nekpur village in the Chabilapur police station area, said that his son-in-law, Heera Chaudhary, always demanded money from them. Even during the wedding, they gave everything according to their status. On Wednesday evening, they received a call that their daughter had fallen into a well and her condition was critical. When they reached their daughter’s in-laws’ house, they found the body lying in the house and the entire family was missing. A few days ago, the son-in-law demanded four thousand rupees, which they were unable to give. After that, he strangled their daughter and threw her body into the well to make it look like a suicide.
Two years ago, Anita Kumari got married to Heera Chaudhary. Anita was two months pregnant and her husband worked as a tractor driver. The preparations for Anita’s sister’s wedding were also underway at home, which is why the father of the deceased had expressed his inability to give money to the son-in-law. After the incident, the in-laws’ family left the house and went into hiding.
The in-charge of the Rajgir police station, Shailesh Kumar Jha, stated that the body has been sent for postmortem and the family has been informed. Further action will be taken once a written application is received. The cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report comes in. Currently, the police are investigating the entire case.
बिहार के नालंदा जिले में एक विवाहिता की मौत हो गई है। मृतका की पहचान हीरा चौधरी की पत्नी अनीता कुमारी के रूप में की गई है। उनके परिजन दहेज हत्या का आरोप लगा रहे हैं। मृतका के पिता ने बताया कि दामाद हमेशा पैसे की मांग करता था और कुछ दिन पहले चार हजार रुपये की मांग करने पर उसने असमर्थता जताई थी। इसके बाद दामाद ने उनकी बेटी की हत्या कर दी और उसका शव कुएं में फेंक दिया। पुलिस ने मामले की जांच में जुट गई है।
