The trend of getting tattoos done is increasing among the youth. Some opt for temporary tattoos, while others go for permanent ones. Certain guidelines have been issued by the Army Recruitment Office in Muzaffarpur regarding getting tattoos on specific parts of the body to be eligible for Agniveer. Guidelines for Candidates with Tattoos
Candidates with tattoos on their bodies need to pay special attention. As per the guidelines, candidates with permanent tattoos related to religious sentiments are allowed only on specific parts of the body, such as from the inner face of the elbow to the wrist and behind the palm of the hand. Candidates with permanent tattoos on any other part of the body will be disqualified from the selection process. Candidates belonging to tribal communities will be given relaxation in getting permanent tattoos as per their traditions and customs. Specific conditions have been set for such candidates regarding tattoos.
Registration Process and Important Documents
Candidates will have to obtain orders from the District Magistrate (DM) and submit self-certified documents for verification along with the registration form. Candidates belonging to tribal communities will have to get permission for permanent tattoos signed by the DM or SDM of the district. The name and designation of the signing officer must be clearly mentioned. A format has been issued by the office regarding this process. The registration process for Agniveer recruitment will continue until March 22, as per the Muzaffarpur Army Recruitment Office. The online examination will be held on April 22, with admit cards being issued a week prior. Nearly a thousand applications are being received daily from all districts.
