Inspection of Administrative Offices and Departments

Prof. Jawahar Lal, the Vice Chancellor of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU), conducted a meticulous inspection of the administrative offices and departments located in the university premises. During this inspection, he emphasized that action will be taken against officials who unnecessarily delay files. The university’s administrative system will be strengthened, ensuring that no file remains pending. Strict action will be taken against non-performing officials to enhance the work culture of the university.

Challenges Faced by Health Center and Central Library

During the inspection of the Registrar’s Office, the health center physician informed the VC that important files related to medication procurement have been pending for the past few months, causing operational difficulties. Similarly, the files of the Central Library’s professor in charge have been lying at the Registrar’s Office for months. Several department heads also complained to the VC about files remaining pending in the Registrar’s Office, raising concerns about administrative efficiency.

Comprehensive Inspection of Various Offices

The VC inspected numerous offices, including the Account Section, Cash Counter, Audit Section, Pension Section, Establishment Section, Legal Section, DSW Office, CCC Office, PRO Office, NSS Office, DEO Office, Store Section, Examination Department, General Section, Research Section, Registrar’s Office, College Inspector Office, and VC Secretariat. He expressed astonishment at the large volume of files stored during the Registrar’s Office inspection. Immediate directions were given to the Registrar to expedite file processing under the Single Window System. During salary inspections, several employees were found absent, leading to instructions for salary deductions for those not punctual at the university.
