The police tried to pacify the angry mob. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Rituik Srivastava, arrived at the scene. He tried to calm down the agitated crowd, but they did not listen. Ultimately, the police resorted to lathi charge to control the mob, but it still turned violent. During the commotion, the police arrested six people who were causing a ruckus. The police also informed about the arrest of the driver of the Jaip-5 bus. MLA Narayan Das, along with SDM Vishal Sagar and SP Ajit Peter Dungdung, arrived at the Sadar Hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured.

Unfortunately, the accident occurred before she could reach there.
