**Tragedy Strikes in Jammu and Kashmir**
Nine people from Bagaha in West Champaran lost their lives in a tragic accident in Ramaban, Jammu and Kashmir. The incident has left the entire area in shock, with the families of the deceased in a state of mourning. The victims had gone to Srinagar to earn money for their daughters’ weddings. A taxi near Ramaban fell into a 300-foot deep gorge, claiming the lives of all on board, including three sons-in-law, two sons, and other relatives.
**Victims of the Accident**
The victims of the accident included residents of various villages in Bagaha, such as Bheisahiya, Manjhariya, Sohas Siswa Bazaar, Hari, Inarbarawa Bhaironganj, Belaura Ramnagar Thana, Sirsiya, and Kailash Nagar. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, expressed his sorrow over the incident and announced compensation of 2 lakhs for the families of the deceased and 50,000 for the injured. Among the deceased was also a resident of Amb Ghrotha, Jammu, named Balwan Singh.
**Daughter Wails, Wife Unconscious**
The wife of the deceased Vipin Mukhiya, Indu Devi, was devastated upon hearing the news of her husband’s death. She had called her younger brother, only to find out about the tragedy. Their 18-year-old daughter wailed, and the wife fainted upon receiving the news. Vipin had gone to earn money for his daughter’s wedding, as they used to collect 500 rupees daily by extracting sand from the river.
**Indu’s Brothers also Among the Deceased**
Indu’s brothers, Avdhesh and Indrajit, also lost their lives in the accident. Avdhesh left behind two sons and a daughter, while Indrajit left behind two sons and four daughters. The responsibility of taking care of the entire family fell on Indu’s brother-in-law, Rajkumar, who was the sole breadwinner of the family. His wife, Prem Shila Devi, was in a state of shock, as their eldest daughter was 14 years old and her marriage was a concern for Rajkumar.
