### Accident involving trucks and crowd gathered around
In Bihar’s Kaimur district, a coal-laden truck standing on the road collided with a sand-laden truck coming from behind after the tire of the latter burst. The driver of the truck got stuck in the accident. NHAI, with the help of locals, managed to rescue the driver after about two and a half hours and took him to the hospital. The incident occurred near NH-2 in the Chilbili village of the Kudra police station area.
### Allegations of delayed police response
The villagers allege that the police station is only two kilometers away from the accident site, and the Kudra police were patrolling on the road three kilometers away. Despite this, it took the police about two and a half hours to reach the accident scene. The villagers accused the police of extorting money from trucks carrying sand and gravel on the road when the accident occurred. Even after being informed about the accident, the police arrived late. It is reported that a five-kilometer long traffic jam occurred on the road after the accident.
