Unique Fruits in Sanjeet Thakur’s Orchard

Sanjeet Thakur, a teacher from Nandani village in Mohiuddin Nagar block of Samastipur district, has successfully grown unique fruits in his mango orchard. Using scientific grafting techniques, he has cultivated a tree with 15 different varieties of mangoes, including famous Indian varieties.

Varieties and Techniques Used

The mango trees in Thakur’s orchard reach a height of 7-8 feet and bear fruit from 15 different varieties. This innovative method of grafting multiple types of mangoes onto a single tree has attracted attention in the Samastipur district. Thakur distributes 50-75 grafted trees every year to promote this environmentally friendly farming practice.

Impressive Variety of Mangoes

Among the 15 different types of mangoes grown by Thakur are Jardalu, Dashahri, Amrapali, Bombaiya, Jarda, Pahadpur Sinhdhari, Malda, Mallika, Thai Mango, Gulab Khas, Banarasi Gola, and Ambika. Each mango variety in his orchard has a unique taste and appearance, making his farm a popular destination for visitors from far and wide.



समस्तीपुर जिले के मोहिउद्दीन नगर प्रखंड के नंदनी गांव में रहने वाले शिक्षक संजीत ठाकुर के आम के बाग में अनोखे आम उग रहे हैं। उन्होंने वैज्ञानिक पद्धति से ग्राफ्टिंग तकनीक का सहारा लेते हुए एक पेड़ में 15 अलग-अलग किस्मों के आम उगाए हैं। इस कारनामे से वह पूरे समस्तीपुर जिले में चर्चा का विषय बन गए हैं। उनके यहां जो आम है सभी का अलग-अलग फल और पत्ता है।
