Boycott of Voting in MasanThana Village

In Gopalganj, the sixth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections is scheduled to take place. However, before this, people in MasanThana village have started boycotting the elections. During this time, the villagers do not want to vote for any party. They are appealing to everyone in the village not to vote by roaming around the village. Additionally, a ban has been imposed on the entry of politicians in the village.

Reason Behind the Boycott

In MasanThana village in Bihar’s Gopalganj, rural voters are boycotting the elections. The reason behind this is that the repair work of the Saren embankment has not been completed here. As a result, the villagers are angry with the politicians. Now, the rural voters have boycotted voting in the Lok Sabha elections. This village comes under the Sadar Vidhan Sabha and is the home panchayat of the current MP, Dr. Alok Kumar Suman.

Appeal for Boycott and Impact on Elections

Rural residents have put up posters boycotting voting in the entire village and are appealing to people not to participate in the voting scheduled for May 31. However, so far, the district administration team has not reached the village to address the voters’ grievances. In this situation, rural voters have blocked the entry of politicians in the village while boycotting voting.
