Jharkhand Weather Update

In Jharkhand, the weather is expected to take a turn once again. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be scattered rainfall in the southern and central parts of the state on Sunday, especially in districts near Ranchi such as Simdega, Khunti, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, and Hazaribagh.

Relief from Rainfall

The rainfall is expected to bring relief from the increasing heat in the state. However, after the rainfall, the weather will clear up and the maximum temperature could increase by four degrees Celsius over the next four to five days. Some districts in Jharkhand received good rainfall in the last 24 hours, with Giridih receiving the highest amount of rainfall at 42.0 mm in Palamau.

Weather in Northern India

In Northern India, the temperature is steadily increasing day by day. However, the IMD has forecasted rainfall today and tomorrow (April 14, 15). Some parts also experienced rainfall on April 13, leading to a decrease in temperature. Strong winds may also be experienced in some areas.

Current Status of Delhi-NCR

Several parts of Delhi-NCR experienced rainfall and strong winds on Saturday evening, providing relief from the heat. The IMD has attributed the rainfall to an active western disturbance in North-West India. The IMD has predicted light rainfall with strong winds in Delhi on Sunday. Due to the bad weather, the flight path of 22 flights arriving in Delhi between 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM has been altered.
