Security Check Incident at Delhi Airport
During the pre-embarkation security check, a woman placed her handbag in the X-ray machine and entered the women’s booth for security inspection. After completing the security check, when the woman reached the X-ray machine, she became suspicious upon seeing the condition of her bag. Upon opening it, she was shocked to find the contents missing.
Jewelry Theft Incident at Terminal Three
Richa Bhagat claimed through her X account that she was supposed to board an Air India flight to Patna. While going through the domestic transfer security check at Terminal Three, she placed her handbag on the X-ray machine and went for frisking by CISF security. After her bag went missing, she filed an FIR with the airport police.
Response and Investigation
The security agencies are investigating the jewelry theft incident at Delhi Airport, raising questions about the security protocols. Following the complaint, CISF and Delhi Police have initiated an investigation. The airline’s response has left Richa surprised, as they mentioned that the responsibility of personal belongings lies with the passengers.
