Central Bank of India Student Term Education Loan
The Central Bank of India offers the Cent Vidyarthi Term Education Loan with a maximum amount of Rs. 10 lakhs for education within the country and Rs. 20 lakhs for education abroad. This loan provides interest rates ranging from 8.10% to 10.60% per annum for women, scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), and Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) students. The loan covers various expenses like college fees, hostel charges, laboratory expenses, study material, travel expenses for studying abroad, equipment, books, insurance premium for the student borrower, and any other related expenses.
Indian Overseas Bank Education Loan
The Indian Overseas Bank offers the Vidya Jyoti Education Loan with a 0.5% reduction in interest rates for all female students. This loan provides a maximum of Rs. 1.5 crores for domestic courses and Rs. 3 crores for international courses. Students can also repay the principal amount or additional interest during their education. With a flexible repayment period of up to 15 years, this loan offers interest rates ranging from 9.75% to 11.00% per annum. Additionally, there is no need for collateral for loans up to Rs. 7.5 lakhs and a 0.50% discount for women on their student loans.
