Hospitalized Injured Women
In Gopalganj district of Bihar, in the Heerapakad village of the Jadopur police station area, criminals attacked a mother and her two daughters with a knife while they were sleeping at home. All three women were severely injured in the attack and were immediately admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Doctors are currently treating them at the hospital. Relatives have alleged that the incident was the result of a dispute over money with the father-in-law of the eldest daughter.
Allegations of Fatal Attack on Father-in-law
According to information, Pawan Kumar Singh’s wife Indravati Devi, daughter Ritu Kumari, and Saloni Devi from the Heerapakad village in the Jadopur police station area are among the injured. Indravati Devi, who was injured, has six daughters. She had taken a loan of 25,000 rupees from the father-in-law of her eldest daughter for the wedding of her daughter Saloni a year ago. The father-in-law used to pressurize her to return the money, and when she asked for more time, he started harassing her continuously by demanding the money.
Mother Became Victim of Attack Ten Days Ago
In reality, on Thursday night, Indravati was sleeping in a makeshift house with her two daughters when the father-in-law took advantage of the situation and attacked her with a knife. The daughter woke up due to the commotion and tried to intervene, but the attacker also injured her with the knife. The victim stated that ten days ago, her second daughter, who had become a mother, also tried to intervene and was attacked with a knife. The attacker was also about to attack the ten-day-old infant, but the villagers arrived upon hearing the commotion. The attacker fled upon the arrival of the villagers, and with their help, all three were admitted to the district hospital in Gopalganj for treatment late at night.
All Injured Women Admitted to Hospital
Meanwhile, the Jadopur police station chief stated that three people have been stabbed, and treatment is ongoing at the district hospital. Based on the statements of the injured, the case is being investigated, and a raid is being conducted to arrest the accused. The accused will be arrested and sent behind bars at all costs.
