However, nowadays you will come across many news stories that instead of searching for a job, young people are starting their own startups and not only earning a good income but also achieving success. Sheikh Imtiyaz, a resident of Balidiyabadi village in Manihari block of Katihar district, completed his graduation and also prepared for a job, but when he didn’t find success, he started a mustard oil factory. He is now earning up to 12 lakhs annually.
Sheikh Imtiyaz revealed that it is not necessary to get a job immediately after completing your education. Instead of wasting time waiting for a job, it is better to start your own business and not only become self-reliant but also earn a good income. With this mindset, when he didn’t find a job, he started a mustard oil factory and began producing pure mustard oil using a machine. He also started supplying it to various parts of Katihar, including Manihari and other nearby blocks.
Earning lakhs every month, Sheikh Imtiyaz stated that it has only been a short time since he started the mustard oil factory. However, the demand for mustard oil has increased quickly. Now, he is supplying mustard oil not only to Manihari but also to other blocks and districts. He revealed that he is supplying 8 to 10 quintals of mustard oil every month, which also leads to savings of one lakh rupees per month.
To improve the response from customers, Sheikh Imtiyaz stated that he is extremely satisfied with this work. The satisfaction comes from receiving better responses from customers, which keeps him motivated. He is now working on expanding the business. Local people also appreciate his work and consider Sheikh Imtiyaz as an example for other young people. Customers mentioned that the oil produced by him is pure and of high quality. After completing his education in Katihar, Sheikh Imtiyaz not only presents an example for other young people by getting involved in self-employment but also earns a good income annually.
