**Rahul Kumar Hospitalized in Critical Condition**
Rahul Kumar, a resident of Bihar’s Begusarai, was severely beaten by hooligans due to a love affair, leading to his hospitalization. The incident took place in the Bihta area of Barauni Thana. The victim has been identified as Raj Kishor Jha’s son Rahul Kumar.
**Details of the Incident**
Rahul Kumar, who works as a contractor at the Barauni Refinery, was returning home from work on Tuesday evening when he was caught by Pankaj Singh alias Karu Singh and another accomplice. They started beating him with sticks and rods.
**The Love Affair**
Rahul Kumar revealed that his younger brother and Pankaj Singh’s daughter have been involved in a love affair for some time. Both had run away from home multiple times, only to return after a few months. Rahul and his family used to hand over the girl to her parents each time.
**Police Investigation Ongoing**
A written complaint has been filed at the Barauni police station regarding the incident. The police are currently investigating the matter and have confirmed that a youth has been seriously injured in the violence. The youth is undergoing treatment at Begusarai Sadar Hospital.
