**Construction Progress of Delhi-Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway:**
The construction of India’s longest expressway, the Delhi-Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway, is progressing rapidly and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Vadodara-Mumbai segment of the expressway last year in October.
**Key Features of the Expressway:**
This mega project is estimated to cost 1 lakh crore rupees and will be the longest and busiest expressway in the country with a length of 1,350 km. The project aims to connect major cities like Kota, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Vadodara, and Surat.
**Enhanced Connectivity and Facilities:**
Once completed, the journey from Delhi to Mumbai will be significantly reduced from 24 hours to just 12 hours. The expressway will also improve road connectivity between major cities. Additionally, facilities such as car parking, fuel pumps, restaurants, service areas, restrooms, and play areas for children will be provided for the convenience of travelers.
**Connectivity with 6 States:**
The expressway will pass through six states including Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. It will start from Gurugram and pass through Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh, Vadodara in Gujarat, before reaching Mumbai.
दिल्ली-वडोदरा-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे का काम तेज गति से चल रहा है और 2024 के अंत तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है। इस एक्सप्रेसवे की लंबाई 1,350 किमी है और यह देश के प्रमुख शहरों को जोड़ रहा है। यह परियोजना भारत की सबसे बड़ी एक्सप्रेसवे परियोजना है और इसकी अनुमानित लागत 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये है। इस एक्सप्रेसवे के शुरू होने के बाद दिल्ली से मुंबई तक का सफर सिर्फ 12 घंटे में पूरा होगा। इस परियोजना के तहत 30 लेन के टोल प्लाजा बनाए जा रहे हैं जिससे ट्रैफ़िक के आधार पर विस्तारित किया जा सकेगा।
