Improvement Plan for Delhi-Jaipur Highway: The initial proposal to make traffic on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway convenient from IFFCO Chowk to Dwarka Expressway has been finalized. The consultant company has prepared a draft and shared it with officials of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). The plan includes a proposal for a new two-lane Railway Over Bridge (ROB) on the railway line in Basai village, in addition to a flyover near Basai Chowk and Bhuteshwar Temple. The road will also be widened to six lanes. The distance of the road from IFFCO Chowk to Dwarka Expressway is approximately 14 km, with sections currently being four lanes and six lanes.

GMDA’s Executive Engineer Amit Godara stated, “We are working on a plan to improve traffic on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway from IFFCO Chowk to Dwarka Expressway. The company has prepared an initial draft which is currently under discussion. The company has not yet announced the cost of this plan. Guidelines are being prepared to estimate the cost.”

Encroachments on the road in Sukhrali:
The proposed plan includes a three-lane road from Basai Chowk to Civil Hospital in Sukhrali, traffic lights at Patoudi Chowk and on both sides of Bhuteshwar Temple, a flyover from Bhuteshwar Temple to Purani Jail Road, and arrangements for auto parking at Mahabir Chowk. It also suggests removing encroachments on both sides of the road near Sukhrali village. The need to remove these encroachments has been emphasized to improve traffic flow.



दिल्ली-जयपुर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर इफको चौक से द्वारका एक्सप्रेसवे तक यातायात को सुविधाजनक बनाने की योजना को अंतिम रूप दिया गया है। इसमें बसई चौक से द्वारका एक्सप्रेसवे तक सड़क की दूरी लगभग 14 किमी है और इसे छह लेन तक चौड़ा किया जायेगा। जीएमडीए के कार्यकारी अभियंता ने इस योजना पर काम शुरू किया है और सुझाव दिए हैं जो यातायात में सुधार लाने की दिशा में हैं। इसके साथ ही सुखराली में सड़क पर अतिक्रमण को हटाने के लिए भी कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
