A Tragic Tale of Dreams and Despair: A Girl’s Journey in Pursuit of Success

Introduction:
In the city of Bhilwara, Rajasthan, a young girl named Akanksha, also known as Khushboo Ojha, took the extreme step of ending her life after failing the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) examination. Her tragic and untimely death has left her family in deep sorrow and shock.

Struggling Against Adversities:
Akanksha, a 28-year-old girl, had been preparing for the RAS examination in Ahmedabad. However, when the results were declared on August 16, she faced failure, which shattered her completely. Overwhelmed by depression and disappointment, she made the unfortunate decision to end her life.

The Heartbreaking Discovery:
On Monday, when Akanksha’s parents returned home from school, they found the door locked. Despite their desperate attempts to open it, they had to resort to breaking it down. To their horror, they discovered Akanksha’s lifeless body hanging from a saree’s noose. Her teachers had informed the police about the incident, and they arrived at the scene promptly.

The Suicide Note:
In a heartbreaking suicide note, Akanksha expressed her feelings of constant failure and despair. She wrote, “I had dreamed of achieving success through hard work, but every time I faced failure. I left behind all celebrations, all weddings, only to be left with disappointment. Maybe someone was right when they said that a girl should live according to society’s expectations. It’s better if she limits herself to her home and family. I always hoped that something good would happen, but my hands were only touched by failure. I am a fortunate daughter, blessed with a loving family who never abandoned me, and a brother who supported me unconditionally.”

Police Investigation:
The police removed Akanksha’s body from the noose and sent it for postmortem at the district hospital. They are currently investigating the case to determine the reasons behind her extreme step.

Conclusion:
The tragic demise of Akanksha Ojha has once again highlighted the immense pressure and expectations faced by young individuals in their pursuit of success. It serves as a reminder of the need for a supportive environment, where failures are seen as stepping stones to success rather than the end of the road. It is essential for society to address the mental health concerns of students and provide them with the necessary guidance and support to cope with failures. Only then can we hope to prevent such heartbreaking incidents in the future.
