A case of looting tourists during a trip to the Ghoda Katora hill lake in Rajgir, Nalanda, Bihar has come to light. The robbers looted cash and several valuable items from the tourists. When the tourists protested, they were beaten up and the robbers fled the scene.

A group of tourists from West Bengal, who had come to the Ghoda Katora hill lake, were robbed by unknown criminals on Wednesday. As soon as the group reached the Ghoda Katora hill road, about four kilometers ahead of the ropeway, more than six thugs attacked them. They looted four mobile phones, a smart watch, and other valuables from the tourists. When the tourists resisted, the robbers also assaulted the driver of the vehicle. The frightened driver took the tourists back to the ropeway and brought them to safety.

In this case, Range Officer Arun Kumar informed that the information about the incident was given by the driver who brought the tourists back. He said that the Rajgir police were informed, and the Forest Department conducted an investigation with their personnel at the scene. He further explained that the incident took place about four kilometers ahead of the checkpoint, near the foothills of the Udayagiri hill. The police found a discarded mobile phone SIM card while climbing up the Udayagiri hill, which was handed over to the Rajgir police. The police have initiated a search and raid operation to apprehend the criminals.

According to the information, this is the first incident of its kind in the Ghoda Katora hill lake spot area. Both the Forest Department and the police are actively searching for the criminals.
