District Level Taekwondo Competition in Sheikhpura
The 16th district level Taekwondo competition will be organized in Sheikhpura under the guidance of the Taekwondo Association on June 2nd at the multipurpose building of Jawahar Navodaya School. The Secretary of the association and international coach Vishwajeet Kumar informed that preparations are in the final stages for the event. This year, players from four Taekwondo clubs in Sheikhpura district, along with athletes from the Eklavya Residential Center Ramaraypur and Khelo India Mini Center, will participate.
Participation and Camp Details
Players from various age groups will participate in the competition, including juniors, cadets, juniors, and seniors. Approximately 200 participants are expected to compete, with winners in their age group qualifying for the state-level competition. Selected players will also attend a camp for the Bihar state-level Taekwondo competition after the district event.
State Level Camp and Achievements
The state-level Taekwondo camp will be organized under the supervision of Taekwondo trainers Amar Kumar, Kundan Kumar, and Kiran Kumari from Sheikhpura district. The camp aims to prepare players for better performance and success in national-level competitions, where players from Sheikhpura have previously excelled and brought pride to Bihar.
Event Details and Participants
Key members of the district Taekwondo association, including President Manisha Kumari, Secretary Vishwajeet Kumar, Treasurer Ramashankar Kumar, coaches Amar Kumar, Kundan Kumar, Kiran Kumari, and other officials were present at the event. The competition aims to promote Taekwondo in the region and provide a platform for talented players to showcase their skills at various levels of competition.
शेखपुरा में ताइक्वांडो संघ के तत्वाधान में 16 वीं जिला स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन दो जून को जवाहर नवोदय स्कूल के बहुउद्देशीय भवन में होगा। इस प्रतियोगिता में खिलाड़ियों के बेहतर परफॉर्मेंस के लिए तैयारी की जा रही है और इसके विजेता राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में चयनित होंगे। इस आयोजन में जिला ताइक्वांडो संघ की अध्यक्ष एडवोकेट मनीषा कुमारी, सचिव विश्वजीत कुमार, ट्रेजर रमाशंकर कुमार, ताइक्वांडो प्रशिक्षक अमर कुमार, कुंदन कुमार किरण कुमारी आदि उपस्थित थे।
