Car Accident in Sheikhpura

An out-of-control luxury car fell into the Tatai River on the main road in Sheikhpura-Mehus on Tuesday. Fortunately, all passengers on the car escaped unharmed, although the driver sustained minor injuries. The car was severely damaged in the accident, and a large crowd gathered at the scene after the incident.

Details of the Incident

Eyewitnesses reported that the car was speeding towards Sheikhpura city from Sarmara in Nalanda. The driver lost control near a sharp turn on the Tatai River bridge, causing the car to plunge 25 feet into the dry river bed. The passengers managed to safely exit the car and left the scene.

Police Investigation

Upon receiving information about the accident, the police, led by Thana in-charge Vijay Kumar, arrived at the scene to assess the situation. The police confirmed that there were no fatalities in the incident, with only the vehicle’s driver sustaining minor injuries. The car was registered in Patna district and was reportedly from Sarmara in Nalanda district. The police are currently investigating the matter.
